VRP Consulting is looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect to join our growing team in developing best-in-class marketing automation solutions for our clients. This team member will be supporting our clients’ marketing efforts by designing and building technical solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Datorama.
Translate business and marketing requirements into technical design that considers the entire customer experience, including making best practice recommendations for optimal technical performance and raising gaps if they exist
Incorporate multi-platform and/or multi-channel requirements in architectural designs
Interpret complex requirements and develop data-driven solutions
Participate in key sessions with clients, such as requirements gathering, demos, & trainings
Clearly and articulately document technical solutions, including data design documents and user-facing maintenance instructions
Identify and document opportunities for optimisation in existing Marketing Cloud environments
Complete initial setup of Marketing Cloud instances, including establishing business units, SAP, sender profiles, send classifications, users and roles, etc.
Establish Marketing Cloud data and contact schema, including designing business unit data flow structure and hierarchy
Utilize Automation Studio to develop data-driven processes such as custom data manipulation via SQL, automated FTP import/exports, audience selection and filtering, and more
Utilize Journey Builder to develop complex omni-channel communication flows
Develop custom CloudPage solutions, including forms, preference centers, landing pages, and more
Use AMPscript and SSJS for advanced personalization and data processing in emails and CloudPages
Implement advanced Marketing Cloud studios, such as Interaction Studio and Datorama
Understand and apply the Datorama data model, including data stream types, relationship between the different entities, and overarching entities
Design, build, and manage Datorama dashboards, streams and reports
Who you are
3+ years experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
1+ years of experience with Datorama
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Must possess Marketing Cloud Consultant and/or Marketing Cloud Developer certifications
Must possess Datorama Architect or Associate certification
Demonstrated proficiencies within environment applications, particularly with Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and Email Studio
Experience in Mobile Studio, Interaction Studio, Datorama, and/or Audience Studio (DMP) a plus
Working knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or other core Salesforce products
Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, and Server-Side Javascript
Experience with Datorama data modeling, data warehouses, ETL, data integration, business intelligence, dashboards, and reports
Experience with data analysis & data QA
Experience in Web programming (e.g. JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML)
Advanced knowledge of SOAP and REST APIs
Experience with Marketing Cloud Connect, experience in other technical integrations a plus (i.e. Heroku, MuleSoft, Customer 360, etc. )
Experience with web personalization a plus
Experience working with data lakes and warehouses such as AWS
Experience working in an agile development framework
Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or other Team Collaboration software
Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly ramp up on new projects
