VRP shortlisted in Digital Revolution Awards 2024!

We’ve just had some amazing news and couldn’t wait to share it with you. VRP Consulting has been shortlisted in the Digital Revolution Awards 2024 – not once, but twice!

What is the Digital Revolution Awards?

Founded in 2020, the Digital Revolution Awards is “a global cloud IT awards and fundraiser that recognizes and celebrates the very best individuals and businesses working in the cloud tech ecosystem.” All kinds of innovators and high-achievers across the tech landscape enter the awards, including those in our main area of specialization: the Salesforce^® ecosystem. 

We are absolutely thrilled that our work has been shortlisted. Every nomination or award VRP receives is a sign we’re on the right path as a company, and they give us a real boost of motivation. They’re also a testament to the skill and passion our experts put in every day for our great clients. 

In recent years, VRP has won Salesforce Partner Innovation Awards for our work for Ukrainian Red Cross Society (2023), the pioneering nonprofit Noise Solution (2022), and Rolls-Royce’s Yocova platform (2020). To now be finalists in the Digital Revolution Awards is an exciting new landmark for us. 

Which categories has VRP been shortlisted for?

As we mentioned earlier, our work has been accepted into the awards’ finals in two categories:

• Excellence in AI – for our work with Noise Solution
• Digital Transformation Project of the Year – for our work for Eurostar

With Noise Solution being a nonprofit organization, and Eurostar a “household name” brand, the nomination represents a perfect cross section of our work, as we’re fortunate enough to work for both some of the world’s leading good causes and international enterprises. Similarly, the award categories are also representative of our commitment to innovation via technologies such as AI, and enabling smooth and successful digital transformation for all kinds of organizations, everywhere. 

Let’s take a closer look at the work VRP has been shortlisted for! 

Excellence in AI

VRP Consulting’s pro-bono work for Noise Solution, a pioneering and award-winning third-sector organization, has enabled them to gain unprecedented insights into their impact. Noise Solution helps vulnerable youths through the power of music and self-determination, pairing program participants with musicians in sessions that increase their confidence and well-being. These sessions create hours of video feedback and written questionnaires that need detailed assessment, with manual processing being time-consuming, unscalable and highly subjective.

The solution we designed and developed for Noise Solution aims to understand every session they have with their participants. Our team created an innovative cloud-based, generative AI solution to capture qualitative video feedback from their participants, transcribe, understand, run sentiment analysis and determine the best courses of action, with the capability to transform their assessment processes, increasing their ability to help young people. 

The team used modern AI models to classify, score, understand, and suggest responses to each music session that takes place. The workflow takes a session transcript and sends it to ChatGPT, prompting it for a set of analysis and cognitive responses, and then stores the analysis in Salesforce for downstream reporting, participant sentiment responses and suggested next best actions. 

These insights deliver value not only regarding individual participants, but also in terms of their wider work as an organization. Noise Solution can also rest assured that all the data is protected via Salesforce’s stringent data privacy ecosystem, but at the same time is available in a few clicks as detailed reports to demonstrate their impact. Thanks to VRP’s help, they now have an intelligent technology solution to help them objectively and accurately analyze this massive quantity of unstructured data and revolutionize both their work and their impact.

Digital Transformation Project of the Year

In March 2022, Eurostar received board approval for their corporate merger with Thalys. Both companies’ extensive and complex technology landscapes, built around Salesforce, needed to be merged with an undertaking that would transform both companies into a unified, singular international brand. 

It was imperative this vast portfolio of work, consisting of 9 programmes over 18 months, was completed for an immovable go-live at midnight on 30th September, 2023 without affecting tens of thousands of rail passengers whilst the Rugby World Cup began in France. VRP Consulting was engaged by Eurostar to enable them to achieve this. 

As well as development, VRP took on a far-reaching consulting role in order to enable Eurostar to meet its deadline. Leading project management and working in sync with stakeholders and external teams, VRP consolidated both orgs, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud instances, unifying Indirect Sales and Customer Service business units into a single existing org. 

Our team supported integrations via MuleSoft and Boomi, and also set up filtered change data capture to orchestrate notifications to external systems. We migrated Thalys’ communications, preferences and customer journeys (campaigns) into Marketing Cloud from Campaign Monitor, and also proposed and implemented a DevOps strategy to streamline deployments.

By successfully implementing the Eurostar and Thalys merger program, VRP was key in ensuring that Eurostar Group achieved its main goals. They met the fixed deadline, with business processes continuing undisrupted throughout the programme and without any customer complaints related to the system merger. A single website, process, and loyalty programme were introduced and became the first visible effects of the merger for customers.
