Read moreThis year’s Salesforce® UKI Alliance & Channels Partner Regatta was a great event. We’re so glad to have attended and entered a team in the competition, and we’re excited to announce some news: our team was awarded first place!
VRP is the Salesforce Partner Regatta winner 2023 — an achievement we’re very proud of. In this article, we’ll tell you all about the win, our team, and more.
First place in the Sunsail Class
Thanks to their efforts in the Solent, the VRP team won the SunSail Class fleet first prize in the Salesforce Partner Regatta. You can see some highlights of the event in this video:
At the event after the race, which took place on the Isle of Wight’s Cowes Yacht Haven, they were presented with the trophy and prize, a bottle of Isle of Wight ‘Mermaid Gin’, by Jemma Byrne, VP EMEA Alliances at Salesforce. The team reports that the Mermaid Gin is delicious! It’s also been great to display the trophy at our office in Kraków, Poland, among other awards VRP has received in recent years — including our 2022 Salesforce Partner Innovation Award, which was won for our work with Noise Solution.
Racing ahead as a Salesforce Partner

This is the first time VRP has entered the Regatta, marking the huge strides we have made in the market. It comes at a time when we are being recognized as the largest independent partner in the ecosystem, with record revenues so far in 2023, having onboarded over 30 new customers globally.
Competing and achieving great results in this prestigious event truly reflects our standing in the Salesforce ecosystem today. It’s a landmark everyone at VRP Consulting is celebrating.
A few words from the skipper
Wojciech Malinowski, VRP’s Chief Operating Officer, led the team. He’s a certified sailing captain and boat owner who has taken part in many races in the past. We asked Wojciech what he would like to say about this achievement:

“It’s an amazing result for us and I’m so proud of what VRP and our Salesforce crewmates have accomplished together. This is the spirit of the Partner Regatta, and the Salesforce ecosystem itself, in action: Salesforce professionals from across the landscape joining together to achieve a common goal. It’s been a brilliant experience to get together with so many people from Salesforce, and other Salesforce Partners, for some friendly competition in the Solent. Great company, great weather and great sailing.”
As well as his achievements on the sea, Wojciech has also presided over some major recent developments in terms of VRP’s business and the company’s expansion. Among these are the opening of three new offices, including our latest development hub in Lublin, Poland.
Who was on the team?
Our team was composed of keen sailors from within VRP Consulting and also teammates from Salesforce. Here’s the full roster:
- Wojciech Malinowski, Chief Operating Officer, VRP Consulting
- Laura Croudace, Nonprofit Practice Director, VRP Consulting
- Jennifer Casey, Sales Director UK & Ireland, VRP Consulting
- Anna Śniegowska, Global Campaign Manager, VRP Consulting
- Dan Collis, Solution Architect, VRP Consulting
- Joseph Devine, Enterprise Account Executive, Salesforce.org
- Jack Neath, Enterprise Account Executive, Salesforce Media Team
- Garima Totlani, Partner Account Manager, Salesforce

Huge thanks to Joseph, Garima and Jack from Salesforce for joining us and playing your parts in the win. It was amazing to have you aboard!
Great teamwork on the waves and on each project
We also caught up with Laura Croudace, VRP Consulting’s Nonprofit Practice Director and member of the winning team. She said: “The VRP crew are an amazing team and the way we worked together on the boat really demonstrated the way we work together when working on Salesforce projects — teamwork at the heart of everything we do, we work with tenacity, uncompromising focus on the goal at hand, and leaning on each others strengths.”

“We are proud to have won the Salesforce Regatta in the Sunsail Class. When I joined VRP in March the draw of having an international team with various strengths was a big pull for me, and it goes to show this even lends itself to sailing skills.”
VRP’s work for nonprofits around the world now includes leading organizations such as Ukrainian Red Cross Society, Barnardo’s and Parkinson’s UK. Our work for URCS, integrating a new payment solution, enabled them to handle a huge rise in donations at the start of the crisis, and we’re proud to say we’ve helped them raise more than $20 million for their cause — another big win to celebrate.
Come and meet the Salesforce Partner Regatta winner 2023
If you’d like to meet some of the winning team, come and see us at Salesforce World Tour London! It takes place at the ExCel Centre on Thursday, 29th June, 2023. Laura and Jennifer will be there, along with many others, and we’ll be happy to have a chat — whether it’s about sailing or Salesforce.

At World Tour London 2023, we’ll have some great swag to give away, and we’ll also be fundraising for Ukrainian Red Cross Society. What’s more, VRP will be launching a great competition where you could win £10,000 of our expertise if you have the winning “big idea” that could revolutionize your organization or your industry. Hope we see you there!
